USSV’s team of talent designers and engineers developed this stylish, rugged and seductive vehicle with safety in mind. Built on a mechanically stock Jeep Wrangler Ulimited platform and drivetrain, it’s everything one needs in an All-Terrain SUV with the latest technology.
Description courte
With the recent announcement that our friends at the Antique Boat Center in Cincinnati, Ohio were named as a modern Chris-Craft boat dealer – it was interesting to see some of the feedback from our viewers following yesterday’s story. Some loved the modern fiberglass Chris-Craft models, and others were not as quick to jump on board with the new models – preferring to stay with the older versions of the iconic marque. An architect once told me “Texx – People have different tastes… Some people like Italian food and some poeple like Japanese food… You can’t please everybody.”
Wally//118 is arguably the most distinctive and fastest motor yacht in the world. And it will be the first yacht YFR&F will acquire. It is the true definition of success and classy yachts in our eyes. Its three gas turbine engines produce 17,000 horsepower, propelling the 118 to more than 60 knots. With its striking vertical bow it cuts through the water with unmatched stability and control so that even at high speeds the experience is pure Wally. With bright and spacious interiors the 118 is a truly unique combination of the thrills of a high-performance sport boat with the comforts of a luxury cruising yacht.
With yachts the designers have a very special attribute that perhaps no other form of mechanical art has, and that is sheer scale. An item of this size is not bound to just have architectural lines, it can truly have an architectural impact. Wally is one example of a manufacturer that makes yachts like this but one builder that have flown under my radar until just recently is Art of Kinetik, based in Belgrad, Serbia who have been operational since 2007. Their quest is to create the ultimate balance of art and performance and by the looks of their vessels they are quite a good way towards achieving that goal. They have one model which is of particular interest to me, not only because of the name (it’s called the Hedonist), but most of all because it’s such a beautiful example of how good things can turn out when there’s a clear philosophy behind the concept, the design interprets the concept in a new and timeless way and the execution is flawless.
St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is in between Nice and Monaco. The particularity of St Jean Cap Ferrat is the greenery that dominates the increasing urbanization. This area is also home to luxury villas and other large estates, including the most famous of them, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Enjoy your trip to or from Monaco by exploring the numerous coves along the route or just rest a while, enjoy the view and relax in these spots that are only accessible by boat. You can also drop the anchor in Scaletta cove or Saint-Hospice on the St Jean Cap Ferrat coast, or in the bay of Espalmador on the Villefranche sur Mer side.
